Since August 2017, Roxy Ryot has cast an ominous shadow over Australian Women’s wrestling. It seemed that every time Alexis Lee overcame the odds, Ryot was there to destroy Lee and anyone else in her path. It seemed that it was only a matter of time until Ryot would take the crown of Australian women’s wrestling, the AAW Women’s Championship, for her own. At Unleashed, in the most barbaric beating ever seen in women’s competition, Roxy Ryot barraged her way into the history books. After such a dominant performance, the AAW Audience has been left wondering, who will step up to challenge the seemingly immoveable champion?
A debuting Allyson Cruz will take to the challenge. Making her first appearance in an AAW ring, Cruz has stated surveyed the AAW women’s division for some time, stating now is the perfect time to show Australia why she is the premier female wrestler this side of the equator. Whilst we eagerly anticipate the debut of Allyson Cruz and her caution-to-the-wind athletic arsenal, the AAW audience is more the aware of the damage Ryot can cause, so Cruz with caution.
As an added bonus for the AAW audience in Baldivis, this contest will be officiated by non-other than Baldivis’ own City Councillor Matt Whitfield! Mr Whitfield has been an amazing proponent of AAW coming to the Baldivis area for the first time and can’t wait to be a part of the action.
