The name on the marquee read Total Chaos, and the night’s main event bout for the AAW No Limits Championship between defending champion Felix Young and the ECW legend Sabu delivered total chaos in spades.
It was everything that you would expect and perhaps a ‘Lego’ more from a contest featuring the ‘Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-defying’ Sabu. With chairs, canes, trash cans, and tables a plenty, both men put each other through inexplicable pain in the name of being called the AAW No Limits Champion.
Just as Rob Van Dam gave the AAW audience a show they will never forget in August, Sabu put his body through hell trying to wrestler the championship away from Felix Young, even battling a seemingly unbreakable table in the process. However, it was Young who was able to outlast the extreme veteran, with cane welts, chair shot contusions, and half of LEGOLAND piercing his body, Felix scored the 1-2-3.
It seemed to all in attendance that Felix Young had the respect of Sabu beaten into him, as he took to the microphone, thanked Sabu and shook his hand. This sign of mutual respect was short lived however, as our No Limits Champion then demanded that Sabu also raise his hand!
As Felix Young moves into the new year as the reigning and defending AAW No Limits champion, it would be hard to dispute that if Sabu couldn’t overthrow Young, there may be no one who can?
